I Miss My Garden! This has been a particularly harsh winter in Santa Fe. My vegetable garden is a sheet of ice, my roses look like a bunch of dead sticks, and everything else is buried in layers of snow. The scent of this scrub captures the optimistic feeling of gardening on a Spring day: black potting soil, green grass, fresh snap peas, spicy carnation, and rose leaves.
Sugar scrubs are so much fun to use! This scrub exfoliates gently with cane and turbinado sugars and jojoba beads, and I use a little bit of liquid castile soap in my formula so your skin won't be left feeling greasy -- just lightly moisturized and softly scented. My recipe now has coconut oil and shea butter, too, for an extra-creamy, extra-luxurious scrub.
Listing is for one 8 oz. jar of sugar body scrub.
VEGAN INGREDIENTS: Cane Sugar, Turbinado Sugar, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Castile Soap, Shea Butter, Fragrance, Mica Color, Jojoba Beads, Vitamin E, Optiphen Plus, Grapefruit Seed Extract.
Directions: I like to use these at the end of my shower... scoop some up with your hand, gently scrub your skin where it needs to be exfoliated (such as thighs, elbows, upper arms), then rinse off. I find these to be a little too scrubby for my face.
